Vogue UK Goes Bridal with Lara Stone, Natalia Vodianova, and Freja Beha Erichsen
Has Vogue UK caught Royal Wedding fever? Appears so.
The British magazine is toasting Prince William and Kate Middleton's April 29 nuptials with three separate May covers featuring Lara Stone, Natalia Vodianova, and Freja Beha Erichsen, respectively, in bridal gear—the first multi-cover issue in its 95-year history.
Photographed by famed lensman Mario Testino (who also took the royal couple's official engagement photos), the supermodels sport ethereal, dewy complexions and romantic updos for the editorial.
Though Stone opted for Givenchy when she and British comedian David Walliams tied the knot last year, the Dutch beauty wears an embroidered strapless Bruce Oldfield—who was a favorite to design Middleton's wedding dress—featuring floral details. A sheer veil draped over her shoulders adds to the feminine look.
Vodianova goes the Carrie Bradshaw route in a silk and lace Vivienne Westwood with a pleated bustier top and tulle bolero, while Erichsen tops off a frothy silk faille Oscar de la Renta gown, boasting rose details, with an ivory flower in her hair.
See anything you like, Kate?
