Kate Middleton's Wedding Shoes: Top Footwear Designers' Sketches

Though she wore Aquatalia by Marvin K. boots two days in a row last week, something tells us Kate Middleton will be splashing out on something a bit fancier for the royal wedding.
And to nudge her in the right direction, Footwear News recruited top shoe designers to contribute sketches of their fantasy wedding heels for the bride-to-be.
While Giuseppe Zanotti envisions a black T-bar strap heel with a sapphire centerpiece inspired by Middleton's engagement ring, René Caovilla sees the brunette beauty slipping on a white satin sandal embellished with Swarovski crystal gems and feathers.
Calling Middleton a "2011 Audrey Hepburn," Cesare Casadei has cast his vote for a silk pump with jewel and floral embellishments. Georgina Goodman, meanwhile, wants the bride to wear an antique Welsh lace pump with pearl details.
And how does Manolo Blahnik see this Cinderella story ending? With a glamorous, garden-chic ivory silk pump adorned with sea pearls and organza lilies of the valley.
"It represents springtime and everything fresh and new, which is what Kate Middleton is all about."
