chrome hearts jewelry

The folks at Chrome Hearts have long insisted that celebrity collaborations aren't their thing. But when you count Kate Hudson as a close friend, well, things happen ...

London's swanky Selfridges department store played host to the press preview of CH + KH, a new jewelry collection designed by the actress and her longtime pal, Chrome Hearts co-founder Laurie Lynn Stark.

Inspired by their island travels (and making us wish we were on a white-sand beach rather than underneath a swarm of U.K.-issue rainclouds), the collection channels Hudson's signature bohemian-meets-glam style via whimsical butterfly-inspired motifs, feminine strands perfect for layering over a halter-neck sundress, and giant cocktail rings that make the starlet's paperweight of an engagement ring look almost miniscule.

siwa

It's raining in New York—again. But if there's one thing that can pull me out of the weather doldrums, it's looking at bags. Considering my obsession with accessories, I'm shocked I only have a small, edited collection at home. (Really, I swear.) But I'm about to add to it once the pre-Fall and Fall Reed Krakoff pieces hit stores.

I've been ogling the Boxer bags (pictured above) for a while now, trying to decide if they work for me. After seeing them in person, I'm certain they do.  At this point, I'm deciding between the black calf-hair ($1,390) or the cream version with a snakeskin tie ($1,090).  Decisions, decisions.

Iris Apfel for HSN baubles

Don't be alarmed when I say this, but HSN (Home Shopping Network, for you non-TV shoppers) has some great baubles and bags in the pipeline. I popped over to their accessories event, where designers like Badgley Mischka, Loree Rodkin, R.J. Graziano, Lulu Guinness, Carlos Falchi, and many more showcased their upcoming wares. The items were rather chic—whatever notions you had of HSN can officially be put to rest.
