Original supermodels like Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell may be having their moment thanks to Duran Duran's just-released "Girl Panic!" video, but there's still plenty of spotlight left over for the newbies.
Take V Magazine's Model Issue, which has devoted four covers to fashion's fresh faces, as photographed and styled by our favorite duo, Terry Richardson and Carine Roitfeld.
Speaking of fab couples, the tropical-themed covers pair Candice Swanepoel with Joan Smalls; Daphne Groeneveld with Saskia de Brauw; Bambi Northwood-Blyth with Lindsey Wixson; and Sui He with Hana Ben Abdesslem, all of whom rock leis, Technicolor tights, and bold floral prints from the likes of Balenciaga, Celine, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy.

Inside, the girls run amok with hula hoops and bubble makers as Roitfeld gushes over this next generation of models.
“It’s a big moment of change in fashion," she says. "In some cases, you feel like it’s the end of an era. I have been feeling this with cover subjects, and especially models.
"These eight girls are unique, not one is like the other. Candice is the only blonde and blue-eyed of this new generation of supermodels. Joan is black, Sui He is Asian, Hanna [sic] is North African. It’s their diversity that makes each of them, to me, truly modern. They bring a new energy to fashion.”
