Adding fuel to the Marc-Jacobs-to-Dior rumors, Louis Vuitton—one of the designer’s current gigs—will be opening an exhibition at Milan’s Triennale, dedicated to his work for the fashion house.

Katie Grand, who has long styled Louis Vuitton shows and ad campaigns with Jacobs, will curate the exhibit, which, according to Women’s Wear Daily, will pull from the more than 70 collections he’s designed for the historic French label since his installation as creative director in 1997.

In light of the expected appointment of Jacobs at Dior and his subsequent departure from Vuitton, the exhibition will surely serve as a fitting send-off from the house. And then? Well, if last season’s front-row chatter was all about who would replace John Galliano at Dior, expect next season’s to focus on who might replace Jacobs at Vuitton. (Pheobe Philo? Watch this space!)
