NET-A-PORTER Limited

Not to fully date myself, but have you seen the Limited lately? I swung by the showroom to check out the Fall offerings, and let me tell you, these clothes are nothing like the Limited I went to back in Texas as a teen. If they were, I'd probably have better photos of myself.

The clothes are adorable! The skirts are my favorite, though I'm always partial to them versus pants. The cream and gold skirt ($79.90) has the volume of a tulip skirt, but the longer length is easier on the hips. (No one wants that volume.) The canvas "paint" skirt ($69.90) is fun and young but you can still wear it to the office or out for drinks.

There's very little that gets my heart going quite like big, chunky jewelry. Costume, real—it doesn't matter as long as it's eye catching and fun to wear. At Bradbury Lewis, the showroom to London brand Mawi, I got to try on heavy crystal and rose gold necklaces, bracelets and rings.

Mawi is not for the faint of heart. You have to want to be noticed when wearing these pieces. Take, for example, my favorite new necklace (though neck piece is a more apt description), which is rose gold and red crystal with 20 grinning skulls dangling off ($900). A bit much? Sure, but I'll still wear it out to brunch or cocktails. Heck, I'd wear it while doing laundry.

Siwy Denim has, in the course of a couple years, become a staple amongst jean aficionados. The supersoft denim—which I got to feel up at the preview—is both flattering and comfortable to wear. The Pajama Jean has nothing on these.

For Fall, designer Michelle Siwy made a few tweaks, including taking away the back-pocket design that appears on most denim pants. It's almost strange to see a bare pocket—but I like it. A tabula rasa on your rear end. But if you must have some bit of flair, there is a removable tchotchke of feathers attached.

Siwy also showed jeans with regular pockets (for the less adventurous) and some tops and jackets. Maybe I'm still cocooning from winter but the faux fur jacket ($300) spoke my name. Paired with the brand's blue jeans, and it's my Friday night outfit.
