Carine Roitfeld Reveals Magazine Plans
Here's one September issue we can't wait to get our hands on: the launch of Carine Roitfeld's new magazine.
On hand to support Chanel at its Tokyo events, the former Vogue Paris editrix has revealed to Women's Wear Daily that her new periodical will be published twice a year, starting with its September launch.
Roitfeld also divulged that the magazine will have no "front of the book" section and will focus on "fashion with a lot of freedom." Translation: Expect some seriously extreme fashion editorials. Bring. It. On.

Want more dirt? Her admission that she's headed to New York City to work on the first issue supports recent rumors that the magazine will be based in the Big Apple, where it will reportedly be published by Visionaire, sources tell Fashionista.
Given Roitfeld's mind-blowing work for Visionaire's V Magazine—including transforming Kate Winslet into Elizabeth Taylor and styling Jennifer Lopez in Prada mixed with boxing gear—we'd say this is a match made in fashion heaven.
Wonder if Anna Wintour is as excited as we are?
