Gisele Bündchen: World’s Top-Earning Model, According to Forbes
In news that will surprise, well, no one, Gisele Bündchen has been named the world’s top-earning model, according to Forbes.
Bündchen made a reported $45 million in the last year—a $20 million increase from the previous year—appearing in campaigns for everyone from H&M to Dior to Pantene. Her influence as a spokesmodel is apparently so great that her gig as the face (or hair, rather) of Pantene led to a 40 percent boost in the products’ sales.
The Brazilian beauty’s lead in the industry is significant; the second highest-earning model is Heidi Klum, who, even with Project Runway and multiple clothing-line collaborations, earned $20 million in the last year. Kate Moss follows with $13.5 million, while two Victoria’s Secret Angels round out the top five: Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.
