Kate Moss’ Dior Addict Short Film

Natalie Portman’s relationship with Dior may have cooled off since former designer John Galliano’s recent racist remarks, but the house still has at least one super on its side: Kate Moss.

Last month, the house announced that Moss would be the face of Dior Addict lipstick, and now, the 90-second short, directed by Jonas Akerlund, is out in full.

The video, set to the music of Duran Duran, shows Moss in a Marie Antoinette-worthy dressing room in Paris, pushing through a paparazzi scrum, getting changed in the backseat of a car, and of course, applying Dior Addict lipstick in Charmed Pink.

“A girl can’t make an entrance without her lipstick,” she says in the film before she enters a Dior fashion show. (The show in the video is the Spring 2011 collection, and while Moss is shown making her way backstage post-show—hello, Suzy Menkes cameo!—John Galliano makes no appearance.)

Dior isn’t the only fashion house to get cinematic recently: check out Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle video, starring a catsuit-clad Keira Knightly.
