Julianne Moore, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Cover Vs. Magazine
Good luck deciding which of Vs. Magazine's six covers you'll be buying this month.
For its Spring 2012 Intimate Issue, the magazine is stocking up on sex appeal with cover turns from Julianne Moore, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Helena Christensen, Elizabeth Olsen, Shailene Woodley (shot by none other than budding photographer Drew Barrymore!), and Erin Wasson.
Though her cover shoot is relatively tame compared to the other ladies (see: a bum-flashing Christensen and a nearly nude Huntington-Whiteley), Moore doesn't shy away from the provocative poses entirely.
Decked out in color-saturated designs from Bottega Veneta, Aquascutum, and By Malene Birger, the flame-haired stunner can be seen smooching a female mannequin in one eyebrow-raising image.
Woodley and a Givenchy-clad Wasson also appear to be engaged in some (human) girl-on-girl action in their respective shoots, while Olsen evokes Desperately Seeking Susan and True Romance in her deliciously tarty spread shot by Ellen von Unwerth.
"I love playing dress-up, but by no means do I know how to model clothes," the indie darling tells the magazine.
"I was that kid that never smiled in photographs. I would make stupid faces and ruin pictures. I've never been the 'pretty face.'"
The same can't be said for fellow cover star Christensen. The 43-year-old Dane (we know, we don't believe it either) invited the cameras into her New York City home for her shoot with Guy Aroch, who captured her lifting a giant bottle of Chanel No. 5 and giving herself a pedicure in lime green panties and a black lace bra.
Meanwhile, Huntington-Whiteley seems to be drawing inspiration from her Burberry Body campaign for her spread, in which she sports a Burberry Prorsum parka over nothing but Chantal Thomass panties.
The steamy shoot also sees the British beauty posing naked in her bedsheets and modeling lingerie from Gucci and Jean Paul Gaultier for La Perla.
Guess we'll be hiding this one from the boyfriend then!
