Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Covers Harper’s Bazaar U.K. Body Issue
If you're going to put out a Body Issue, it makes sense to call on the gal who stripped down for Burberry Body.
Clearly Harper's Bazaar U.K. had the same idea, because they've put Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on not one but two covers for their figure-focused January issue.
Speaking of figures, the addictive British beauty flaunts hers in a black Michael Kors swimsuit with crisscross gold straps for one cover look, while the second shoot sees her flashing some serious thigh and cleavage in a plunging pink metallic gown from her beloved Burberry.
But wait, there's more. Inside, lensman Tom Munro captures the Marks & Spencer campaign star in a series of sexy swimsuits as she lounges by the pool, while a vaguely Mad Men-ish shoot sees her rocking a wavy faux bob and Resort 2012's daintiest dresses.
"Rosie can make any outfit look sexy," photographer Mario Testino, who shot her Burberry Body campaign, says of the pillow-lipped model.
"She’s English and has a very English beauty, but she has a 'Brazilian body,' and that’s what makes her so special.”
Huntington-Whiteley, however, tells a different story, claiming she didn't quite measure up when she first hit the modeling circuit.
"All I kept hearing was ‘Honey, you gotta change this; your hair’s this; your legs are that; you’re not enough this; you’re not enough that; you’re too much this; why are you wearing that,'" she tells the magazine. "And so it was a constant stream of judgment.
“I was always the girl who would turn up to fashion shows in trainers, flares, a shearling jacket, and braids in my hair. I look back and I was really cute, but all the other girls were slick, groomed, and elegant, while I’d be backstage drinking a can of beer. It’s a great British thing, but that kind of thing doesn’t go down well in America.”
Oh, we think people will understand ...
