Kim Kardashian Covers Glamour, Talks Divorce
Guess we won't have to wait until March for that Kim Kardashian komeback after all.
The reality star has wasted no time in getting divorced returning to the newsstand, gracing the January cover of Glamour alongside sisters Khloe and Kourtney in her first post-split interview.
Photographed by Ben Watts, the sisters sport colorful sequined L'Wren Scott cardigans and gelato-hued Malia Mills briefs for their playful cover shoot.
But behind the smiles and bouncy hair, the accompanying interview takes a more somber note as Kim opens up about the end of her 76-day marriage, being a "hopeless romantic," and why kids and a fairy-tale ending may not be in store for her.
"I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed," says the woman who wore three Vera Wang wedding gowns on the big day.
"I think I need to not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic ... Maybe my fairy tale has a different ending than I dreamed it would. But that’s OK."
"I love Kim’s belief in love and the fact that she feels so strongly about it," adds Khloe, who accuses her sister of being "dramatic" about the possibility of not having children. "She has that dream every girl has."
Of Kim's assertion that she's lost sight of her love life, Khloe tells her, "[It's] fine, but I’m your sister and I know why you don’t have it right now. But I know you will get it again."
If this all sounds like a pity party, at least it's a glamorous one. The inside fashion spread sees the sisters ringing in the New Year with party hats, balloons, and sexy looks from Jovani, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, and Sonia Rykiel; sporting sequined Enza Costa tanks by Wildfox Couture for a slumber party; and heating things up in pink corsets from Playful Promises.
And you thought divorce was depressing.
