Kim Kardashian Launching Gold Fragrance
Kim Kardashian seems to be having a major metallic moment.
After wearing a gilded gown to the 2011 Grammys (left), the enterprising reality star has announced that her second fragrance will be called Gold, the Scented Salamander reports.
Slated to début in April, the "summer fragrance" boasts top notes of Italian bergamot, grapefruit, and pink peppercorn; a heart of jasmine, rose, and violet; and base notes of patchouli, sandalwood, amber, and benzoin.
Kardashian—who recently channeled Cleopatra for Harper's Bazaar—opts for a retro '40s pinup look in the new campaign, which sees her wearing chunky gold bangles and a Billie Holiday-style gardenia behind her ear.
"Gold is a luxury that stands the test of time, a universal symbol of sophistication and glamour," a statement about the fragrance says.
"Like a stunning piece of jewelry, Gold lends everday style a surge of seductive sparkle and timeless beauty."
