Rachel Bilson Fronts InStyle’s Makeover Issue
Rachel Bilson, celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, and Proenza Schouler? Hello, dream team!
Reality star Goreski stylishly outfitted the actress in a Southwestern-inspired top-and-skirt combo from the label for the cover of InStyle Makeover, which hits newsstands on August 5.
Inside, the 29-year-old star wears a red tweed blazer and trousers from Chanel (a nod to designer Karl Lagerfeld, who directed her Magnum Ice Cream spots, perhaps?) with buckled Roger Vivier flats and a Rachel Leigh necklace as she discusses her passion for fashion.
“I know this sounds terribly shallow, but I’ve been mapping out my outfits for the next day every day since I was little, even before high school," she says.
"I have a very busy mind—there’s constant chitter-chatter up there—but what I’m wearing the next day? That’s definitely something that’s always been in my head before I go to sleep at night.”
Photographed by Giampaolo Segura, the brunette beauty also confirms that she is still together with on-off boyfriend Hayden Christensen, confesses that her mother used to straighten her hair with an iron as a child, and raves about her latest role as surgeon Zoe Hart in the upcoming show Hart of Dixie.
"She’s a great character," says Bilson, rocking long waves for the shoot. "I get to be tough and sassy and sarcastic—all that good stuff. And I deliver a baby!”
