Kate Middleton’s Royal Wedding Party Dress
After spending a few hours relaxing post-wedding ceremony and reception, hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace, the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left Clarence House for a formal party the Prince of Wales threw in their honor also at the palace.
The bride changed out of her Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown and into a strapless white satin gazar evening dress with a circle skirt and diamanté-embroidered detail at the waist, also by the designer. The new Duchess also wore a white angora bolero cardigan.
Maid of honor Pippa Middleton was seen leaving the Goring hotel in a long, emerald-green sleeveless dress with a jeweled embellishment on the front and a plunging neckline. Her hair was pinned up and she accessorized with a clutch.
Carole Middleton wore a black cap-sleeve dress cut low in both the front and back with a tiered skirt.
Prince William, his father, and the Middleton men were all seen wearing black tuxedos with bow ties.
Three hundred of the couple’s closest friends and relatives were invited to celebrate with them at a black-tie affair.
The newlyweds are planning to spend their first night as husband and wife at Buckingham Palace.
