Kate Middleton and Prince William Married! Meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

The newlyweds, now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, were beaming as they stepped out of Westminster Abbey and into a horse-drawn carriage to take them to Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s reception.

The groom held his bride’s hand as they walked down the red aisle at Westminster Abbey followed by their bridesmaids, pageboys, maid of honor Pippa Middleton in an ivory crepe dress by Alexander McQueen, and supporter Prince Harry in a Blues and Royals’s officer’s uniform.
Prince William wore the Irish Guards Mounted Officer’s uniform in Guard of Honour Order with a forage cap. The blue garter sash signifies that he is a member of the order of the Garter and the wings on his left honor his position as a search-and-rescue pilot with the RAF. He also wore the Garter Star and the Golden Jubilee Medal.
The Prince helped his bride into the carriage and assisted her in adjusting the almost 7-foot train on her lace and gazar wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen.
