The Mario Testino-photographed official royal wedding program portrait of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Look who’s all matchy-matchy!
In a gorgeous new portrait of Kate Middleton and Prince William, the soon-to-be married couple both sport white button-downs and beaming smiles.
The stunning Mario Testino–shot photograph is included in the official royal wedding program.
“The Official Programme includes the full Order of Service (as used by guests in Westminster Abbey), a personal message of thanks from Prince William and Miss Middleton, and a photo of the Couple taken by photographer Mario Testino at the time of the Couple’s engagement,” reads the description on the official royal wedding site.
As royal watchers know, Middleton did her own makeup and James Pryce of the Richard Ward salon styled her long, glossy hair for the portrait session, at which she also posed in a white Reiss dress (and the sapphire and diamond engagement ring, of course).
Fifty thousand copies of the program will be sold for £2 (or $3.33 U.S.) a pop in London’s Green Park, Hyde Park, St James’s Park, and Trafalgar Square on April 29, with proceeds going to the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. The official royal wedding program can also be downloaded for free beginning April 28.
You may not get an actual hard copy of the book, but on the bright side, you can put the money you’ll save toward buying the same shirt Middleton is wearing in the portrait—it’s only a matter of time before the designer is revealed and it too sells out.
As for what Middleton is not wearing on her big day: a Bruce Oldfield wedding dress, says the designer himself.
