Funny: we don't remember our '80s garb ever being sophisticated enough to warrant placement in Vogue.
But in this month's issue, Joan Smalls and Lara Stone are returning to the era of Marty McFly, without any of the regrettable sartorial incidents that stick out so much in our minds.
Fresh from her W gig, Smalls vamps in metallic accessories and angular shoulders, while recent music video star Stone's pink curls and apparent affinity for color are reminiscent of one Effie Trinket.
If Emma Stone's gorgeous cover wasn't enough to drive you to a newsstand or re-up your subscription, we bet this slideshow will do the trick.
