Makeup mecca: The new Burberry Beauty counter at Saks Fifth Avenue
New Yorkers in hot pursuit of the naturally gorgeous beauty offerings from Burberry can stop their search.
The British brand’s makeup collection, which launched last summer, has been available online and in select Nordstrom stores on the West Coast, but Burberry Beauty’s first and only New York City outpost is now open at Saks Fifth Avenue.
The counter offers the full line—from sheer, dewy liquid foundations (every shade is a play on the classic Burberry trench color) to vitamin E-infused lip colors and mineral eye pencils—as seen on models Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevigne in the autumn beauty campaign.
The multi-functional products (Burberry makeup artist Wendy Rowe advocates using lipstick on cheeks for contouring—check out more of her tips in the video below!) all come packaged in classic checked cases, with super-functional touches like magnetic closures—forget those open-lipstick-in-purse mishaps.
The collection retails for between $27 and $55 and is available now at Saks Fifth Avenue and Burberry.com.
