Burberry Beauty Launches Spring/Summer 2011 Looks
They may shower their runway models with rain and snow, but Burberry is finally ready to let the sunshine in.
The Sun-Kissed Look is one of three new makeup collections Burberry Beauty is launching for Spring/Summer 2011, complete with a Mario Testino–shot campaign starring model Cara Delevingne.
Touting "delicately bronzed skin for a light glow complemented by sheer and natural lips," the Sun-Kissed Look includes Light Glow blush in Tangerine, barely there sheer eye shadow in Trench and Rosewood, and a pink lipstick in English Rose. Think Brighton, not South Beach.
The sand-hued Trench shadow also features in the brand's Fresh and Effortless Look, a "natural sheer day look with gentle flushed cheeks" (courtesy of Light Glow in the rosy Misty Blush shade) and "subtle highlights," finished off with a Dusty Rose lipstick layered with Lip Glow Blush No.4.
Last but not least, subtlety is the name of the game with the Natural Feminine Look. Eye shadows in Tea Rose and Pearl Grey combine with a peachy Romantic Rose lipstick, Nude Beige Lip Glow, and tawny Earthy Beige Light Glow blush for a nude and natural effect.
Our forecast? A 100 percent chance of gorgeous.
