Johnny Weir: MAC’s Newest Face
The Iceman cometh!
MAC has tapped flamboyant, fur-loving figure skater Johnny Weir to front its holiday beauty collection, appropriately named Glitter & Ice.
"We’re excited to welcome Johnny Weir into the MAC family," a spokesperson tells FashionEtc.
Though details are few at this time, the cosmetics company photographed the skater's ad campaign in Miami in early June, the New York Post reports.
Weir, who also has a reality show and a fashion collection under his belt, should be a good match for MAC, which is famously partnered up with Lady Gaga, whose song "Poker Face" he often skates to in competitions.
And with the beauty brand's Gareth Pugh collaboration also headed our way, we are so ready to get our MAC on.
