MAC’s Gareth Pugh Collaboration
Our makeup bags are in for a high-fashion makeover come fall.
MAC Cosmetics has announced that it is teaming up with Gareth Pugh—known for his sculptural, futuristic designs adored by the likes of Beyoncé—on a makeup collection launching this November.
Following in the footsteps of past MAC collaborators like Alexander McQueen and Emanuel Ungaro, the Paris-based Pugh will lend the beauty brand his theatrical eye for a line billed as "multiple color products and accessories in special packaging."
While we contemplate the possibility of a latex-covered compact (pretty please?), MAC will be toasting the collaboration—and its long history—with the English designer at a New York City cocktail party in July.
