Katie Holmes’ New Holmes & Yang Apprentice: Bella Cruise

Looks like 5-year-old Suri isn’t the only stylish sibling in the Cruise-Holmes household. Bella Cruise—Tom Cruise’s 18-year-old daughter with ex-wife Nicole Kidman—is about to follow in stepmom Katie Holmes’s fashionable footsteps by taking an apprenticeship at Holmes & Yang.
“Kate’s designing and [Bella] is just working her way up,” Tom told People. “She’s an artist, Bella, so it’s really great that she gets to work with it. She’s loving it.”
In fact, Bella recently spent time in New York City with stylist Jeanne Yang learning about Holmes’s clothing line, which launched in 2009. What exactly did her duties entail? Papa Tom attempted an explanation:
“You’ve got to go to all these different factories and verify and make sure you get the correct clothes,” he said, adding that he’s proud of his eldest daughter’s designer dreams. “It’s wonderful.”
Could modeling gigs for Ann Taylor and John Frieda be in Bella’s future? Who knows. But we suspect Suri might have a little competition on next year’s Glamour U.K. Best Dressed Women list.
