Since leaving Jil Sander to take over Dior, Raf Simons has been more or less silent.

However, in Vogue Australia's December issue, the designer shares what we've been waiting to hear; how long did he know he had the job at Dior:

"I'm not going to lie to you, we [Bernard Arnault and I] had been talking for months about the job, but talks happen all the time in this business. That doesn't mean something is necessarily going to come out of it."

and his thoughts on John Galliano:

"I have so much respect for John [Galliano's] technical skill and the fantasy, it's just something that I don't find relevant now, especially when it restricts a woman, because in every other area they have so much freedom."

So, there you have it. Now, what do you think Galliano thinks of what Simons has done since taking over Dior?

Do we have a future hot dog vs. hamburger fashion battle on our hands?!
