Tavi Lands Her First Movie Role

 Tavi Gevinson

At 16-years old, Tavi Gevinson has accomplished more than your average 36-year-old. She's one of the world's leading fashion bloggers, she sits front row at all the major fashion shows, she's been profiled by The New York Times, spoken at a TED conference, modeled for major fashion labels including Wren and Uniqlo, appeared in a music video, published online magazine Rookie with contributors including Lena Dunham, Paul Rudd and Jon Hamm, all the while still managing to get her algebra homework in on time.

As if her current "resume" wasn't exhausting enough (we're tired just thinking about it!), the doe-eyed teen is adding another accomplishment to her profile.

Tavi just signed with talent agency UTA to make her acting debut in writer/director Nicole Holofcener's new film alongside actors Julia Louis-Dreyfus and James Gandolfini. The movie is currently unnamed, but Tavi will play the role of Chloe, an only child forced to grow up fast after receiving little attention from her parents. While Tavi's actual parents are extremely supportive and attentive, Tavi no doubt knows what it's like to grow up faster than those around her. We have no doubts that she'll rock this role just like she rocked singing "Heart of Gold" at New York Fashion Week.

Next up, Tavi for President? She's got our vote!
