Michael Kors Fall 2012

Lights, camera, action!

Los Angeles' Paramount Studios serves as the star-studded backdrop for Michael Kors' Fall 2012 ad campaign, which casts models Karmen Pedaru and Simon Nessman as a modern-day Carole Lombard and ('stache-free) Clark Gable. Who wouldn't give a damn about that?

Photographed by Mario Testino, the drop-dead-gorgeous duo don checked prints, sumptuous furs, chunky knits, and rich brown leather handbags as they pose amongst the Hollywood backlots packed with cameras, convertibles, and lighting equipment.

Interestingly, the ad also marks Pedaru and Nessman's fifth campaign appearance for Kors.

"I love Karmen and Simon because they are both super-glamorous and approachable at once,” the designer says in a press statement. “They’re youthful and sophisticated at the same time, which makes them so very Michael Kors.”

Indeed. And hey, if it ain't broke, why fix it?
