Sophie Theallet Joins The Limited as Guest Designer
Sophie Theallet is adding yet another high street collaboration to her resume.
Following partnerships with Nine West and Gap, the 2009 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner has been named an exclusive guest designer for a new collection launching at The Limited this November, Women's Wear Daily reports.
Kicking off with a Holiday 2012 range, the collaboration is said to extend to multiple seasons. The retailer most recently partnered with SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design), and has worked with designers like Sonia Rykiel and Jodi Arnold in the past.

"[I'm looking forward to] bringing the luxurious nonchalance of my aesthetic to an affordable price point," the French designer, who counts First Lady Michelle Obama as a fan, tells WWD. "I like that challenge … to make the best product possible.”
"She will be a great inspiration to our customer," adds The Limited CEO Linda Heasley. "She has exquisite taste, and is genuine and approachable, which we love.”
Further details about pricing and specific styles have yet to be announced—not that that's going to dampen our enthusiasm in any way.
