Duck tales: Roo Panes shows off Fall 2012's most-wanted umbrella alongside actress Gabriella Wilde in the new ads.
Eddie Redmayne and Cara Delevingne's playfully sexy, aren't-dating-but-totally-should-be Spring 2012 campaign shots for Burberry are about to be a distant memory.
Billed as the British label's most cinematic shoot to date, the Fall 2012 ads—shot, per usual, by Mario Testino—showcase new campaign stars Roo Panes and Gabriella Wilde as they rock tweeds, knits, and (duh) trenches at the Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London.
Panes, a dashing musician for Burberry Acoustic, clutches a duck-handled umbrella as he poses in the striking black and white shoot alongside Elle Fanning lookalike Wilde, an up-and-coming British actress who has been cast in the new Carrie remake.

Striking a pose at the Royal Naval College in Greenwich, Panes and Wilde sport the label's signature trenches.
"We wanted to play with everything that’s at the heart of the Burberry world–celebrating our brand and London through imagery, film, music, weather, and our iconic outerwear, all in a very poetic and British way," chief creative officer Christopher Bailey says in a press statement.
"Using London as the backdrop, we shot the series of cinematic, emotive black and white images and short films with the incredibly talented Gabriella Wilde and Roo Panes, who effortlessly bring the campaign and our collections to life across all of our platforms.”
No kidding. Who knew we'd be lusting after tweed coats and peaked caps in the sweltering summer heat?
