Step aside, Tavi. The Rodarte gals appear to have found a new pre-teen muse: 12-year-old Elle Fanning.

Dakota's kid sister wears outfits from Kate and Laura Mulleavy's Spring 2011 collection for her starring role in The Curve of Forgotten Things. Set to debut Tuesday, February 8 on Nowness.com, the film is directed by Todd Cole and features an original score from rock band Deerhunter.

"The film was shot at the Baldwin Hills Oil House in Los Angeles on a RED camera to create a warm, dusty look reminiscent of the 1970s," a statement from Nowness says.

"Looks from Rodarte's Spring 2011 collection are interwoven into the narrative, resulting in a magical, dreamy portrait of California youth."

It's not the first time Fanning has shown Rodarte some love; the fashion-savvy youngster wore the label to the premiere of her film Somewhere in December.
