The Kardashian sisters prepare for a Dash opening on Melrose Avenue.
Brace yourself, West Hollywood—the Kardashian girls are making a "Dash" for Melrose Avenue.
After six years in Calabasas, California, the sisters are packing up and moving their Dash boutique to a 2,000-square-foot space at 8420 Melrose Avenue, where they'll count the likes of Alexander McQueen, Diane von Furstenberg, and Marc Jacobs as neighbors.
"We had our store since before we had a TV show," Kim Kardashian tells Women's Wear Daily of the move.

"Fashion has always been number one, and we will always continue to focus on our store. If we have a better location, we will have better sales. I don’t think our location was really ideal. I think it will bring more foot traffic to Melrose, which I think will be good for the area. I don’t really know about the paparazzi.”
Of course, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé—who also have Dash locations in New York City and Miami Beach—might want to take note of West Hollywood's recent ban on the sale of fur items, which is set to take effect in 2013.
After all, between PETA's Beverly Boulevard billboard taking Kim to task for wearing fox fur and the fallout over the reality star's recent flour-bombing, another animal rights controversy probably isn't what the Welcome Wagon has in mind.
