Michelle Williams Wears H&M Dress to BAFTAs
She may have lost the Best Actress award to Meryl Streep, but Michelle Williams definitely took home the prize for keeping it real at the 2012 BAFTAs on February 12.
On hand for the British version of the Oscars, the My Week with Marilyn star eschewed designer labels in favor of a custom gown from none other than H&M. Yes, that H&M.
The Swedish retailer tells Grazia Daily that they "approached Michelle Williams' stylist Kate Young about dressing her and they showed a great interest from the start."
"Michelle is a fantastic actress with a sophisticated style," the recent Marni collaborator raves, citing the blonde beauty's "unique and personal" fashion sense.

The final creation echoed Marilyn Monroe's Old Hollywood glamour with an earthy indie twist, culminating in a gold draped organic cotton bodice paired with a satin black crepe trumpet skirt boasting a floral detail at the waist.
The Boy by Band of Outsiders campaign star completed her look with her signature pixie, bold red lipstick, and jewelry from Fred Leighton for Forevermark.
H&M, meanwhile, will be recreating the runway look as a top and skirt for its latest Conscious Collection, which launches in April.
