Score! David Beckham shoes off his six pack and then some in H&M Bodywear ads.
Looks like that New Year's resolution to get more man candy is working out just fine.
And we do mean fine. After announcing a men's bodywear collaboration with David Beckham, H&M has released the first campaign images starring the sexy soccer stud.
As hoped, there's a lot of Beckham on display. Shot by Alasdair McLellan, the sultry black and white images see a tattooed and toned Beckham modeling form-fitting tank tops and snug boxer-briefs. Guess that modeling stint with Emporio Armani Underwear paid off!
"Working with a team has always been a key part of my life and I found that to be the same when developing this range," the enterprising footballer says in a press statement.
"Collectively with my design team we spent time working on the feel, fit, and style to ensure the product is not only something I would wear but one which I would be proud to put my name to. I always want to challenge myself and this was such a rewarding experience for me. I’m very happy with the end result and I hope H&M’s male customers will be as excited as I am.”
We don't know about the guys, but we're feeling pretty enthusiastic. Launching February 2, the David Beckham Bodywear Collection for H&M will encompass four underwear styles as well as henleys, tees, tanks, pajamas, and even long johns, all inspired by Beckham's own wardrobe.
Those smoldering good looks, alas, can't be bought.
