David Beckham to Star in H&M Super Bowl Commercial
Ladies, you might want to skip those Super Bowl bathroom breaks!
After all, could you really forgive yourself if you missed H&M's first-ever Super Bowl commercial, which will star none other than Golden Balls himself?
To celebrate the David Beckham Bodywear for H&M range, the soccer stud (and—cough—his tight end) will appear in a 30-second spot airing during the second quarter of February 5's big game.
"We’re always looking for new ways to surprise and delight our customers, and we see this as a unique opportunity to reach millions of fans and H&M customers," says Steve Lubomski, Director of Marketing for H&M North America, in a press statement.
“David Beckham is a true style icon and one of the most decorated soccer players of all time. We’re thrilled with this campaign and excited to captivate viewers’ attention during the Super Bowl, the biggest stage in the world to unveil our ad campaign.”
Surprisingly, this also marks the endorsement-heavy Beckham's first appearance in a Super Bowl ad. Get with it, advertisers!
But hey, if it's half as sexy as his undie-centric campaign for the bodywear line, everyone wins.
