Transsexual Model Lea T. Makes Runway Debut, Scores Solo Love Cover
Andrej Pejic had his fun. Now it's transsexual model Lea T.'s turn to bring a little gender-bending to the fashion scene.
Following the feminine-looking Pejic's unconventional appearance as a bride on Jean Paul Gaultier's couture catwalk, Brazilian beauty Lea made her runway debut at Alexandre Herchcovitch's Fall/Winter 2011-12 show during Sao Paolo Fashion Week.
The former Givenchy campaign star rocked a sides-wept updo and a long black dress for her runway turn.
In another career high, the brunette babe formerly known as Leo has bagged a solo cover for Love Magazine's Androgyny Issue.
While one cover shot that shows Lea T. smooching Kate Moss has already been revealed, the magazine has just unveiled an alternate cover that has her pairing long, Cher-esque hair with a mesh top that reveals her not-quite-natural breasts.
Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the issue will hit newsstands on February 7.
