Bella’s ‘Breaking Dawn’ Wedding Dress: Six Months to Design

It's been a year of K brides (Kate Middleton, Kate Moss, and, er, Kim Kardashian), but from the sounds of it, Kristen Stewart might just be saving the best for last.

Though the actual design of Bella Swan's Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 wedding dress is still under wraps—minus a few neckline glimpses in the above video—until the movie opens on November 18, designer Carolina Herrera revealed a few interesting details at the film's November 14 world premiere.

"I worked on that dress for like six months going back and forth," Herrera told Marc Malkin of E!.

"I still have all the sketches and everything because it was so special. There's so much expectations [sic]. I hope [the fans] like it."

Given Herrera's bridal track record (she's designed wedding gowns for the likes of Christina Hendricks and Mariska Hargitay), we'd say that Twihards will leave satisfied, especially considering the role the original book series had in influencing the design.

"It was a combination of things," Herrera said. "I got inspiration from the book and descriptions from Stephenie Meyer. You had to really take in consideration the whole story—which was this innocent girl with the first true love of her life. It had to be magical."

We've got our hankies ready!
