Tom Ford Fall 2011 Collection Details Leaked
Tom Ford is finding out that nondisclosure agreements don't always guarantee secrecy.
Though the designer's eponymous Fall 2011 presentation was limited to a handful of editors who were sworn to secrecy, The Imagist is now leaking details about Ford's latest collection.
"Having signed onto the Fashion Witness Protection Program TI can safely hiss a few of those details from the Tom Ford FW 11," the brave blog reveals.
"What lies beyond the layers of mystique, secrecy and non-disclosure [sic] agreements is a land of shameless mega-opulence and ultra-luxe. Think outfits crafted from the most luxurious materials money could hope to buy. Dream of crocodile-skin jackets, iridescent all-gold looks and crepe de Chine pieces that would have made Hubert de Givenchy sputter. Since Fall/Winter afforded Mr. Ford a chance for heavier layering and a plentitude of grand outerwear, let's just say the house dived full on into that potential. Oligarchs of the world, please note that your wives are about to go into a Ford-fueled frenzy."
We guess some designs are too good to keep under wraps. And if this collection is anything like Ford's first womenswear foray, we know we'll be seeing it all over the place soon enough.
