Every time we see photos of celebrities hanging out together — be it grabbing a chic lunch at an outdoor cafe or giggling together over champagne at an Oscar party — we can't help but wonder, "what are they talking about?"

In Harper's Bazaar's December/January issue, cover girl Taylor Swift opens up about what she and pals Emma Stone and Selena Gomez talk about on a day-to-day basis.

"We never talk about fashion, about career, about our ambitions or our projects," she said. "We just talk about relationships, feelings, love, and boys."

Ok, so maybe they're not gabbing about the new Proenza Schouler bag, but that's ok because gossiping about a shirtless Jake Gyllenhaal is way more interesting!

And while Swift shares most of her boy drama with her girlfriends, she wasn't afraid to open up about dating and relationships with Harper's Bazaar. "It needs to be equal," she said on relationships. "If I feel too much like I'm wearing the pants, I start to feel uncomfortable and then we break up."

Indeed, Swift prefers not to wear pants in more than just her love life. "There's just something so feminine about a dress," she said on her #1 outfit choice. "Whether it's a summertime dress that makes me feel carefree, an evening cocktail dress that makes me feel fancy or a vintage dress that makes me feel like I'm a '50s housewife — which I enjoy feeling like, for some reason — I just really like dresses."
