Emma Watson, Claudia Schiffer Share Style Secrets in Harper’s Bazaar

Claudia Schiffer and Emma Watson strike a stylish pose as they open up their closets.

For the "Fabulous at Every Age" feature in the October issue of Harper's Bazaar, Emma Watson is spilling the secrets behind her award-winning style (apparently it wasn't witchcraft after all).
"Jean Cocteau said, 'Style is a very simple way of saying complicated things,'" the 21-year-old Brit says of her personal style, adding that she aims for "a kind of drama while looking understated."
Citing Acne, Chanel, and J Brand as her favorite labels—along with past collaborators Burberry, People Tree, and Alberta Ferretti—Watson also pays tribute to her old-school satchel (the one item she can't live without) and calls white or cream her best-loved color.
On the beauty front, there's her Trésor Midnight Rose fragrance (whose campaign she fronts, naturally), Luzern Laboratories face wash, Lancôme’s "killer" Hypnôse mascara, Stila cream blush, Lancôme’s Teint Miracle, and Tarte LipSurgence pencils.
Photographed by Harry Crowder, the actress says lipstick is her favorite accessory because "I don’t like to accessorize too much because I want people to see me first and my clothes second."
Meanwhile, 41-year-old Claudia Schiffer also professes a love for "understated chic" for the all-ages feature. Posing for Camilla Akrans in a chunky knit turtleneck from her own line, the supermodel raves about the color green, cashmere sweaters, accessories from Kara Ross and Monica Vinader, Dior's Eau Savage scent, and labels like Isabel Marant and Dolce & Gabbana.
"For blush, I use L’Oréal True Match Blusher in Old Rose; on my lashes, L’Oréal Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara," the mother of three says of her beauty musts. "The lipstick I use is L'Oréal Color Riche in Rose Tendre."
Of course, a guilty pleasure or two is still allowed. What are the German beauty's vices? "Red wine, chocolate, and a lie-in with my husband," she admits.
