Dior Taps Mélanie Laurent for Hypnotic Poison Campaign
With a name like hers, one might expect French actress Mélanie Laurent to be a shoo-in for an Yves Saint Laurent gig.
Instead, the Inglourious Basterds star will be lending her face (and name) to a different French fashion house: Christian Dior.
Joining the likes of Dior Addict's Kate Moss and Miss Dior Cherie's Natalie Portman, Laurent will star in the latest campaign for Dior's Hypnotic Poison women's fragrance, WWD reports.
Though details about the ads have yet to be released, the 28-year-old Laurent is expected to show her solidarity with the label by wearing Dior couture on the red carpet at this month's Cannes Film Festival, where she'll act as master of ceremonies.
Milla Jovovich and Monica Bellucci previously starred in campaigns for the fragrance. No pressure, Mél!
