Daphne Groeneveld's Beachy Dior Addict Fragrance Commercial
Is Daphne Groeneveld the second coming of Brigitte Bardot?
Judging by the Dutch teen's beachy new video for the rebranded Dior Addict fragrance trio, the answer is a definitive yes.
Shot by music video director by Jonas Akerlund, a batch of just-released film teasers show the pouty-lipped poser sporting a blonde beehive, retro black bikini, cat-eye sunglasses, and an oversized straw topper as she romps around on the French Riviera.
"She is young, fabulously beautiful, and captivates all who cross her path," Dior says in a press statement of its 16-year-old campaign star. "Like her, the mythical setting of Saint-Tropez possesses an indefinable je ne sais quoi. With smoldering sensuality combined with irresistible lightness, the young Dior Addict woman dazzles, giving free rein to her daring and desires. Music and dance. Freedom and seduction … Dior Addict, a magic potion and elixir of love, gives women power."
Alrighty then. The rebranding also includes a print campaign snapped by photographer Tim Walker, plus the Akerlund-directed And Dior Created The Women film, which is set to air in full later this month
The scents have also scored some new names: Addict Eau de Parfum (in a blue bottle), Addict Eau Fraîche (pink), and Addict Eau Sensuelle (lavender). How ever will we choose?
