Mulberry's Blooming Spring Film
The good folks at Mulberry are putting a little spring in our step with their charming new floral-inspired fashion film.
Shot by photographer Tim Walker, the video stars models Lindsey Wixson and Nimue Smit sporting flame-hued bobbed wigs and pastel looks from the British label's Spring 2011 collection, including the Tillie Drawstring Shoulder handbag in pale blue denim.
As Lupe Fiasco and Jill Scott's "Daydreamin'" plays, 3-D blue and pink hydrangeas come to life, flower petals shower the girls, and a piglet runs into the room, giving the countryside-chic scene a magical, whimsical feel.
The label partnered with visual effects company Framestore for the digital animation, which involved cutting out countless images to give them independent motion. Who knew high-tech could be so darn dreamy?
We'll be making a beeline to the nearest Mulberry boutique ... and the florist.
