HSN's Holiday dress

I admit to watching a little late night Home Shopping Network. It's just so convenient! Shopping, right there! And it's easier than searching things out online. So you'd better believe that HSN has a soft spot in my heart.

Their accessories offerings have really been kicked up a few notches, but this time, I'm digging their clothes. That's right, clothes, from the tee vee.

First and foremost, Adam Lippes is selling a collection with the retailer, which is a great idea. He can reach a wider audience this way. Adam's always made great pieces. The black sequined dress I saw will make a great entrance at a holiday soiree.

The absolute, without a doubt highlight of my week was going to Tiffany & Co. and looking at their new collection for 2011. Now, these aren't mere baubles I'm talking about. These are giant, gorgeous one-of-a-kind gems that you'll no doubt see on the red carpet soon enough.

Slightly random side note. Did you know that Tiffany uses only conflict-free gems? I didn't, and I love that. Of course this means there are no rubies in the new collection, which breaks my heart as I am a ruby girl through and through. (The best rubies come from Myanmar, aka Burma, and, as we all know, the conflict there rages on.) Ok, back to the pretty shiny things.

Yes, that Dereon.  I may not have forgiven Tina Knowles for those matchy, themed Destiny’s Child horrors back in the day (you know what I'm talking about), but I’m here to tell you to give her another chance.

On the relatively expected end of things, there were some satin peep-toe stilettos with studs down the heel. Not necessarily my everyday choice, but for those with active after-dark social lives, they’re not bad.
