From Jason Wu and Marc Jacobs to Herve Leger and Lacoste, the exaggerated side part had a moment on the Spring 2013 runways during New York Fashion Week.
Complementing the natural, barely-there makeup looks, deep side parts were seen in chic updos and breezy loose waves.
Jason Wu paired bold red lips with sleek, side parted strands pulled back into a sculpted braid while Suno also rocked a statement 'do with a structural side-parted twist in the front and a slick bun in the back.
Derek Lam and Lacoste showed deep side parts with low-key natural locks and Herve Leger's strands were similarly untouched except for a peek-a-boo braid wrapped around the side.
Altuzarra girls flaunted a deep side part pulled tightly in an equestrian-inspired low chignon, while Richard Chai and Yigal Azrouël showed simple deep-parted ponytail and bun styles.
