A sensitive issue: You may have to switch out your signature scent.

According to the Daily Mail, recent research from Mintel found that 28 percent of people prefer skincare products without a scent.

With 60 percent of people saying they have sensitive skin, the fragrance in lotions and perfumes is the biggest cause of skin irritation and allergic reactions, thus, many beauty brands are opting for products sans smell.

While much of the luxury in a lotion is its sumptuous smell, its hard to imagine a fragrance-free cosmetics case, however companies from Olay to Elizabeth Arden are adding more and more scent-less options to their repertoire.
