Nail Polish Colors for Fall 2011 - The Hottest Hues
There’s something about the rich, moody autumnal fashion palette that always gets us excited to see the season’s lacquer lineup.
And Fall 2011’s standout nail polish shades don’t disappoint—ranging from green-gold to chocolate brown to shimmery blue to deep burgundy.
“Last year in nails, we saw a lot of purple, dusty neutrals, and gem tones,” says celebrity nail artist Jenna Hipp. “This season on the fall runways, fabrics are all about texture—feathers, leather, velvet, fur. Nails definitely have an opportunity to stand out.”
And though nail guru Sophy Robson said it’s all about metallics for fall (popping up on the runways at Vivienne Westwood Gold Label, Roksanda Illincic, and Chanel), she adds that “dark blood reds are always glamorous and exciting for fall and winter.”
Below, the hottest hues so you’ll have your fingers nailed come fall.
