Blake Lively is no slouch in the style department, that's for sure. And it looks like Gucci and its creative director, Frida Giannini, agree.
Marie Claire's July cover girl has been tapped as the face of Gucci Première, the new women's fragrance available next month.
Joining a cavalry of stylish brand reps—James Franco, Evan Rachel Wood, and Charlotte Casiraghi— the Gossip Girl star will appear in the Mert & Marcus-shot ads as well as a short film, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, that premieres at the Venice Film Festival in September.
With that hair, those red lips and nails, is it any wonder that Frida Giannini picked the actress?
"I was inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour and the iconic leading ladies of Hollywood's golden era. Blake's unique style and charisma brings that allure to life in a very contemporary way," the creative director said in a statement.
Looks like we're all on the same page.
