Yes, that was Kellan Lutz, Ed Westwick, James Marsden and Rangers player Brad Richards sitting at a table in the sunshine on the High Line on Friday afternoon. But this wasn’t a walk in the park; it was the lovely venue for Tommy Hilfiger’s menswear show.

“It is kind of hot,” Lutz said of his three-piece suit. The Twilight star is heading to Israel in a few days. “My mom wants to go, so I’m taking her there,” he said. “We’re a religious family, so it’s great to see historic sights.” Aw, such a nice boy. After that, he’s taking his abs to Asia to shoot a movie.

“It’s very hot today,” Westwick said before gushing about his new Gossip Girl co-star Liz Hurley. “She’s fantastic; a lovely lady and superb addition to the cast.”

Back at the (thankfully) air-conditioned Lincoln Center for Cynthia Rowley’s show, GG’s Kelly Rutherford also sang Hurley’s praises. “She’s so much fun, she has a great character,” she said. So can we expect dastardly doings from Hurley’s character? “Well, yeah; a few things. She’s got a little agenda,” Rutherford laughed.

While Rowley’s front row hosted a slew of boldfacers like Chris Bosh and Alexa Chung, it was platinum blonde Lindsay Lohan who caused a commotion, taking her seat just as the show began, at which point an overexcited paparazzo stepped onto the runway, began snapping pics, and was duly escorted out.

In the evening we hit up a round of parties. At the Frye flagship opening bash at the elegant Cunard Building, Kate Walsh paired her Isabel Marant dress with Frye boots that she already had. “I wore them in a play I did here in New York two summers ago,” the actress said. “This was part of my costume, and I loved them so much, I took them home. I stole these.”

We asked Walsh how she would dress her Private Practice character if she could choose the wardrobe. “Linda Bass is the costume designer, I love everything that she does,” Walsh said. “I really love Addison’s look, I want to take some of her clothes. Sometimes I order: I’ll have what she’s having! And she’s always in Max Mara.”

Our final stop of this long, hectic day, the Thierry Mugler Parfums-Nicola Formichetti soiree at M1-5 in Tribeca turned out to be a balm for our frazzled psyche. Fashionistas mingled at the laid-back bar, sipping cocktails and grooving to the live band.

Richard Chai said he finally felt rested now that his show, combining both men’s and women’s, was over. “I realized it’s really good to do two-in-one,” Chai told FashionEtc. (He figured this out after doing three shows, one after another, last season.) “After my show, I went back to my studio to sort things out, and then I went home and I fell asleep,” he said. Sleep? Sounds vaguely familiar.
