Traditionally, a first wedding anniversary is celebrated with the gift of paper. Madame Tussauds, however, has something else in mind for Will and Kate's big day: wax.

The waxworks museum is toasting the Duke and Duchess' first anniversary with a global tribute to the former Miss Middleton's most memorable fashion moments, Harper's Bazaar U.K. reports.

Working with the original designers to painstakingly recreate each outfit, the museum spent $200,000 and four months completing each high-fashion figure.

Though Kate's iconic Alexander McQueen wedding dress failed to make the cut, visitors to the museum's New York branch will be able to ogle the lavender McQueen gown the Duchess wore to the BAFTA's Brits to Watch event in Los Angeles during her North American tour.

Amsterdam, meanwhile, will feature a Kate figure in the black lace Alice Temperley gown worn to the premiere of War Horse, while the royal's blue Issa engagement dress will make its way to London.

Last but not least, the Madame Tussauds in Blackpool, England will play host to the Duchess' shimmering pink Jenny Packham gown from her first official outing as a married woman.

With the exception of Blackpool, which is slated to launch on April 18, all gowns will be unveiled on April 4, complete with two fab accessories: a replica of the Duchess' sapphire and diamond engagement ring, and a dashing Prince William figure. You didn't think we forgot about him, did you?
