Kate Middleton Wears Jenny Packham to ARK Gala
She’s been on a Reiss roll as of late, but the Duchess of Cambridge put her high-street habit on hold for an evening of high fashion.
After sporting Reiss dresses to the Epsom Derby on June 4 and at a meeting with the Obamas on May 24, the newlywed turned up the glamour for the annual Absolute Return for Kids (ARK) Charity Gala on June 9, choosing a pale-pink sequined and beaded gown by London-based designer Jenny Packham.
The column dress with sheer, fluttery sleeves and a tightly beaded waist is from the Spring 2011 collection.
Attended by the likes of Elizabeth Hurley and David Furnish, the event was the couple's first formal engagement since their show-stopping royal wedding. (And royal wardrobe watchers might have gotten a clue as to Middleton's next upscale ensemble: she was reportedly seen chatting with Tom Ford at the gala.)
