Sure, this isn't Michelangelo's handiwork on display, but H&M is rolling out a cheeky take on another masterpiece of sorts. You don't have to travel to Firenze to see this David...

The Renaissance artist couldn't have banked that one of his greatest works would be reappropriated for contemporary times with someone nicknamed "Goldenballs", but hey, that's synergy, Mike!

To get everyone in the spirit of David Beckham's latest Bodywear line, the retailer is placing nine 11-foot statues of the soccer stud's likeness around New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

From August 16-19, snap a photo of the statue, tag it on Instagram with #HMBeckham, and you could win one of the mini-statues, signed underwear, or even $1,000 shopping spree.

Gotta love synergy.
